History of the Talache mine / Lakeview |
The Talache Mine was a silver, gold, zinc, lead and copper producer in the 1920s, estimated to have yielded roughly two million ounces of silver. An historical production report notes mill assays of 16.95 ounces per ton (oz/t) silver, 0.065 oz/t gold, 2.9 percent zinc, 0.72 percent lead and 0.67 percent copper.
