(TSXV:HRZ), (Horizon),  is pleased to announce that it has been
informed that the J. Vela #1 well located in Zapata County, Texas, has
been put on line and is currently producing gas to sales at the rate of
approximately 500,000 cubic feet per day.  Horizon Industries Ltd.
holds a 3.125% working interest in the J. Vela prospect, a 640 acre
property with the prospective potential for multiple wells.
