VANCOUVER, CANADA -- July 5, 2007 -- Horizon Industries Ltd. (TSXV:HRZ)
announces that the Company's non-brokered private placement announced
in the Company's news release dated June 11, 2007 has been closed.
This private placement is comprised of 3,025,000 shares in the capital
stock of the Company at a price of $0.25 per unit for total gross
proceeds of $756,250. Each unit consists of one common share and one
share purchase warrant. Each share purchase warrant will entitle the
holder thereof to purchase one additional share of the Company at a
price of $0.35 per share for a period of one year from the date of
Closing, except if exercised within the first 3 months after closing,
each share purchase warrant may be exercised at a price of $0.30 per
share. The shares are subject to a four month hold period. Finders
fees of $48,000 and 192,000 finders warrants exercisable at $0.30 for
one year are payable to First Canadian Capital Markets Ltd.

The proceeds of this financing will be used for drilling and operating
expenses at the Waverly, Funk and Stewart prospects and working
capital.
