HORIZON ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT FINANCING

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- May 13, 2008 -- Horizon Industries Ltd.
(TSXV:HRZ), announces that it is proceeding with a non-brokered private
placement of up to 2,000,000 units in the capital stock of the Company
at a price of $0.10 per unit for total gross proceeds of up to
$200,000. Each unit will consist of one common share and one share
purchase warrant. Each share purchase warrant will entitle the holder
thereof to purchase one additional share of the Company at a price of
$0.20 per share for a period of one year from the date of Closing. The
shares are subject to a four month hold period. This private placement
is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
