Why buy virtual ETF's, paper futures and paper everything if the whole point of owning gold is to be out of the financial system ? Hyperinflation will be years down the road eh ?

Could very well be true but just on a historical basis, this treasury bull market is already long in the tooth.(exceeding 30 years is not normal) So is the monetary system itself.(exceeding 30 years not normal either)
