FIRE RIVER ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL BROKERED PRIVATE PLACEMENT WITH SUNEL SECURITIES FOR GROSS PROCEEDS OF UP TO $5 MILLION
 

Fire River Gold Corp. (the "Company") [TSX.V: FAU | OTCQX: FVGCF | FSE: FWR] announces that it will be undertaking a brokered private placement financing with Sunel Securities Inc. for up to $5 million of Units (the "Offering"). Each Unit consists of one common share ("Common Share") and one common share purchase warrant (a "Warrant"). Each Warrant entitles the purchaser to subscribe for one additional common share (a "Warrant Share") at an exercise price $0.10 per Warrant Share for a period of five years.

The Company will pay Sunel Securities, and certain finders assisting with the Offering, a cash commission of up to 7% of the gross proceeds of the Offering and issue compensation options (each, a "Compensation Option") equal to up to 7% of the Units sold as commission in connection with the Offering. Each Compensation Option is exercisable into one Unit at a price of $0.065 for a period of five years.

The use of proceeds of the Offering will be used for the further development of the Company's Nixon Fork mine, satisfaction of an outstanding debt and for working capital and general working capital.
