Kirrin Resources Announces Change in Independent Directors
CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - May 16, 2012) - Kirrin Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:KYM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Tweedie as a director. Ian is a chartered accountant with extensive financial and managerial experience in both public and private companies. He has knowledge across a broad range of industrial sectors and has provided corporate finance and financial advisory services to numerous companies, including on private placements and IPO financings. Ian has board-level experience with public companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and NASDAQ. He has recently retired as the Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Worldplay Communications Inc. Kirrin also announced the resignation of Henry A Tondowski as a director. Kirrin operates two REE properties, Grevet in Quebec and Bottom Brook in Newfoundland, both of which have returned encouraging exploration results with REE grades exceeding 15% TREO, and a uranium project, Alexis River, in southeastern Labrador.
