Brett Resources Inc. (TSX Venture Exchange -- BBR) wishes to announce that the Board of Directors of Brett Resources Inc. have elected to accelerate the expiry date of all outstanding warrants attached to the private placement financing which closed on December 22, 2006 and January 10, 2007. The condition of acceleration, that the price of Brett shares trade at a price equal to or greater than $1.20 per share for a period of ten consecutive days, has been met. Brett is electing to give all placees 25 business days from today's date of notice to exercise their warrants. All outstanding warrants can be converted to shares of the Company as long as the warrant certificate and a certified cheque or money order in the amount of $0.95 per warrant, is delivered to the Company on or before February 19, 2008. The Company has 1,122,000 warrants remaining to be exercised and can realize a total of $1,065,900 from the exercise of these warrants.
