Merit Mining Corp. Announces Update to Non-Brokered Private Placement
June 25, 2010 ? Vancouver, British Columbia. Merit Mining Corp. (TSX-V: MEM) (the ?Company?) announces that, further to its announcement on May 25, 2010, the Company is continuing to arrange a non-brokered private placement of up to 10,588,235 common shares, priced at $0.85 per share, for total gross proceeds of up to $9,000,000. It is expected that the private placement will close in one or more tranches on or before July 31, 2010.
Proceeds of the private placement will be used to re-establish operations at the Company?s Greenwood Gold Project, to re-commence exploration at the J&L project, for the acquisition of additional mineral properties, and for general working capital.
