Opal announces warrants exercised in February
for $3.6 million additional funds

Opal Energy Corp (the "Company") (TSX-V: OPA) announced today the Company issued ��8,374,500 shares pursuant to the exercise of warrants related to the February 8, 2007 financing, for gross proceeds of $2,931,075 and the Company issued 2,000,000 shares pursuant to the exercise of warrants related to the February 21, 2007 financing for gross proceeds of $700,000.

Commenting on this funding, Opal CFO, Bruce Huff, said, "We are pleased to be able to use these additional funds to enhance our exploration prospecting budget. This will allow us the flexibility to fund our drilling program at a time that is advantageous to our shareholders."
