Mr. Roberts is a geological and civil engineer who spent the first decade of his career in resource definition and development for an international mining consulting firm. Thereafter, he headed the mining research team at Merrill Lynch Canada, working in corporate finance and institutional sales. He subsequently moved to Vice President, Corporate Development for a company engaged in mine development and operations. He has successfully run four publicly traded junior mining companies and has served on several boards for various companies. At present, he is President of Minvest Inc., a consulting organization providing technical and financial expertise to mining corporations, the investment fraternity and governments.
