OZ Minerals has received a letter from a Sydney law firm that says it represents a former shareholder of Zinifex and that the person intends to commence on behalf of all Zinifex shareholders who acquired shares in            OZ Minerals, a representative proceeding against OZ Minerals in the Federal Court of Australia in relation to   OZ Minerals’ alleged failure to disclose information to the market on the refinancing of its debt in 2008.

No proceedings have been commenced and little is known about the possible claim at this stage.

OZ Minerals will vigorously defend any proceedings that may be commenced.
