British Columbia's "Golden Triangle" Update
British Columbia's "Golden Triangle" is continuing to develop into one of the world's premier districts for mineral deposits. The excitement over this area was evident at this years' Mineral Exploration Roundup Conference in Vancouver. The development of this area is not only seen as a critical element in B.C.'s mining economy, but could significantly affect Canada's entire mining industry.
There are many world-class projects in this area that range from early exploration to feasibility stage. The continued development of the Golden Triangle is of interest to American Creek given the location of its two flagship properties in northwest British Columbia.
The Electrum property has a rich history with some of the highest grade ore mined in North America combined with excellent logistics.
The Treaty Creek property is not only adjacent to Seabridges KSM deposits, but appears to form part of the same highly mineralized belt. In 2009, a 9,500 metre drill program confirmed gold-porphyry style mineralization on the Copper Belle Zone and VMS style mineralization on the GR2 Zone.
