Tarsis Closes $400,000 Financing
Tarsis Resources Ltd. (TSXV: TCC) (?Tarsis? and ?the Company?) is pleased to announce that it has closed a non-brokered private placement of 2 million Flow-Through shares at $0.20 per Flow-Through share for a total of $400,000, which due to strong demand the Company increased from the previously announced $250,000. The placement closed in two tranches with the first tranche having a hold period expiring August 1, 2010 and the remainder having a hold period expiring August 14, 2010. In addition, Finder?s Warrants were issued entitling the holder to purchase up to 129,500 common shares for a period of 18 months from issue at $0.25 per share and cash finder?s fees were paid in the total amount of $25,900.
The Company intends to close the non-Flow-Through portion of the financing in the next two weeks.
At Tarsis? recent Annual General Meeting, Mr. Richard Graham did not seek re-election to the Company?s Board of Directors due to other commitments. Mr. Graham has agreed to continue his association with Tarsis as a consultant and advisor. Tarsis would like to thank Mr. Graham for his efforts over the last four years as the Company?s founding President and subsequently as a director.
