      HORIZON CLOSES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

VANCOUVER, British Columbia --  May 27, 2008 -- Horizon Industries Ltd.
(TSXV:HRZ), is pleased to announce that the Company has closed it's
non-brokered private placement referred to in the Company's news
release dated May 13, 2008.  The private placement comprises 2,030,000
shares in the capital stock of the Company at a price of $0.10 per unit
for total gross proceeds of $203,000.  Each unit consists of one common
share and one share purchase warrant.  Each share purchase warrant
entitles the holder thereof to purchase one additional share of the
Company at a price of $0.20 per share for a period of one year from the
date of Closing.
