TARGET EXPLORATION &
MINING CORP. (TSX.V: TEM)
(the "Company") is pleased to announce that a 21 hole, 6,000 foot drill
program has been planned on the Sinbad Property, 20 miles southwest
of Green River in Emery County, Utah. Drilling is scheduled to begin by
the end of October 2007 and will test the extension of known uranium
mineralization along trend of the former Sinbad Uranium Mine, as well as
several newly discovered radon anomalies.
The property is adjacent to the Sinbad Uranium Mine, a former producer
that was shut down in 1982. The known uranium mineralization is hosted in
the Chinle Formation sandstone, which hosts
numerous other uranium deposits in Utah.
The mineralization continues along trend onto the Company's Sinbad
property where relatively shallow drill holes on the claims are reported
to have intersected mineralization ranging from 4.5 feet of 0.11%
eU3O8 to 2.5 feet
of 0.55% eU3O8.
In addition to completing geological mapping and a radon gas survey over
the property, the Company has also staked an additional 51 claims and now
controls 62 claims (1190
acres) and a State Lease (640 A) in the Sinbad
area. The company continues to evaluate other uranium opportunities in
the area.
