TRI ORIGIN COMMENCES DRILLING PROGRAM AT RED LAKE EXTENSION PROJECT, RED LAKE, ONTARIO

Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. (TSX-V: TOE) (?Tri Origin? or the ?Company?) is pleased to announce that it has commenced drilling at its 100%-owned Red Lake Extension (?RLX?) property at Red Lake, Ontario.

The program is planned to consist of approximately 6 holes totalling 900 metres. The holes are designed to test airborne electromagnetic (?VTEM?) and soil geochemical anomalies located within a 4 kilometre by 2 kilometre area at the north and west parts of the property. Targets being evaluated by the Company are covered by overburden and hence, their geological setting is unknown.  However, work completed by the Company in this part of the property over the past field season has outlined a large area containing extensive gold in soil geochemical anomalies with coincident arsenic geochemical anomalies.  Arsenic is strongly enriched in the gold deposits of the Red Lake District.  Furthermore, isolated airborne geophysical anomalies located within the area of soil anomalism may represent zones of sulphide mineral enrichment, another key association present at the nearby Red Lake gold deposits. 

Management anticipates that drilling will be completed before the end of June, 2011.  Results of drill core analysis will be released as soon as they become available.

RLX is a gold exploration project covering a contiguous group of mining claims with an area of approximately 121 square kilometres located at the southeast part of the Red Lake Gold Mining District. Mineral rights to the property are 100% owned by Tri Origin.  The highly prolific Red Lake District hosts major, operating and past-producing gold mines and has produced over 20 million ounces of gold. The Company?s work continues to validate its hypothesis that RLX is underlain by the important mine trend rock units that host the nearby Red Lake Gold Mine operated by Goldcorp Inc.
