Vancouver, British Columbia, September 26, 2008 - Rockgate
Capital Corp. (TSX Venture: RGT) (the "Company") is
pleased to report ICP-MS results from three exploration diamond drill
holes located approximately three kilometres east of the Central Zone.
For reference, the new zone has been named the East Zone.
The purpose of these three diamond drill holes was to conduct a
limited evaluation of radiometric anomalies from work completed by Cogema
in the late 1970's. Mineralization in the form of uraninite and
chalcopyrite was observed in East Zone drill holes with 2 specks of native
silver noted in one hole. All East Zone mineralization is confined to the
Kania Sequence sandstones, which is the host to all known zones on the
property. The Kania sandstones are the lower-most sandstone unit in the
sedimentary basin, located typically within 20 metres of the basal
unconformity.
The East Zone discovery is significant as the Kania sandstones are
coarse grained and in many sections the unit contains unsupported,
sub-angular to rounded pebbles. This micro-conglomeratic feature of the
sandstones is common only to the North Zone which is trending directly
towards the East Zone over 4 kilometres to the south-east. Both zones
remain open. Assay results are posted in Table # 1

The Falea exploration permit covers 150 square kilometres of the
Falea-North Guinea-Senegal basin, a Neoproterozoic sedimentary basin
marked by significant radiometric anomalies. Rockgate Capital has earned
a 60% interest in the Falea Uranium-Silver-Copper property from Delta and
is the operator of the project. Rockgate has now completed over 40,000
metres in 149 diamond drill holes on the property, most recently testing
the east flank of the North Zone.
Mr. Lorne Warner, P. Geo, Director and VP Exploration, is the
Qualified Person for the Company under NI 43-101. All core samples a
sawed in half and sent to Bamako where ALS prepares the samples with
pulps then shipped to EcoTech Laboratories in Kamloops B.C. for ICP-MS
analysis and ALS in Vancouver for XRF analysis for uranium. The company
inserts a standard, blank and requests a duplicate sample in every batch
of 20 samples.
