DRILLING UNDERWAY AT HAMMOND #1 IN SAN JACINTO COUNTY, TEXAS

VANCOUVER, CANADA -- May 25, 2007 -- Horizon Industries Ltd.
(TSXV:HRZ), is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at the
Hammond #1 Well at the New Waverly Prospect in San Jacinto County,
Texas.

The operator, Pan American Production Company, Inc has informed the
Company that the well was spud on May 24. Surface casing will be set
at depth of 500 feet today. Drilling of the well is planned for a
total depth of 3,200 feet to test the Jackson Sands at approximately
2,800 feet. The Hammond #1 well is the first of up to five wells
proposed to be drilled on the initial 400 acre phase of the New Waverly
prospect currently comprising approximately 3,100 acres.

Horizon holds a 25% working interest in the initial phase of the
prospect and has an option to acquire up to 37.5% working interest in
the balance of the prospect. For details on the New Waverly Prospect,
