"The dropping of the property in no way reflects on the potential of the property, but is indicative of the current economic climate that persists with regard to early stage mineral exploration projects," cited Mr. Underhill.

Company management is still bullish on gold and will be reviewing precious metals projects as the economic situation improves.

Abington continues to receive positive cash flow on its interest in two separate oil fields in Saskatchewan, Canada.
