VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Eldorado Gold Corp. (EGO) on Friday reported a third-quarter loss of $96.1 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 1 cent per share.
The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was breakeven on a per-share basis.
The gold mining company posted revenue of $211.5 million in the period.
The company's shares closed at $3.70. A year ago, they were trading at $6.56.
