Golden China Files Preliminary Final Report 

Toronto, Ontario, August 31, 2007 - Golden China Resources Corporation (the "Corporation") (TSX:  GCX) announced today that it has filed its annual Appendix 4E (preliminary final report) (the "Report") with Australian Securities Exchange Limited ("ASX"), complying with listing rule 4.3A of ASX.  The Report contains unaudited management prepared financial statements for the Corporation for the year ended June 30, 2007.

To ensure shareholders outside of Australia have access to this information, the Corporation will file a copy of the Report on SEDAR as an attachment to a material change report, which can be viewed at www.sedar.com.

The Corporation is in the process of finalizing its audited financial statements which will be filed as soon as they are available and, in any event, by no later than September 28, 2007.
