TORONTO (AP) _ Franco-Nevada Corp. (FNV) on Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $1.2 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Toronto-based company said it had net income of 1 cent per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 20 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 20 cents per share.
The precious metals streaming and royalty company posted revenue of $123 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $106.7 million, or 70 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $442.4 million.
Franco-Nevada shares have increased nearly 2 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $50.11, a rise of nearly 9 percent in the last 12 months.
