VANCOUVER , Aug. 15, 2014 /CNW/ - Getty Copper Inc. (TSXV: "GTC") ("Getty" or the "Corporation") today announced that it has granted stock options ("Options") to certain directors, officers, employees and/or consultants of the Corporation to purchase an aggregate of 1,900,315 common shares in the capital of the Corporation. 1,712,165 Options were granted at an exercise price of $0.07 per common share for a period of five years pursuant to the Corporation's Stock Option Plan and 188,150 Options were granted at an exercise price of $0.07 per common share for a period of two years pursuant to the Corporation's Stock Option Plan.
