The comparison of Valley of the Kings with Hemlo, Canada's great gold discovery of more than 20 million ounces, is profound.  Coincidentally, Mr Quartermain was a major force at Hemlo, and is now the head push behind Valley of the Kings. 

Pretium has fallen recently from the $16 level to as low as $5.50.  In our opinion, this is a major overreaction on the part of the markets to the contemporaneous fall in the price of gold.  Our take on this is that we are less than two months away from the bulk sample results at Valley of the Kings....once that vital piece of information is in place, this property should be well on the road to the recognition it deserves... another Hemlo in terms of total ounces and an Eskay Creek in terms of gold grade.  

At Hemlo, there were two adjacent properties that also produced gold mines.  We are in exactly the same position right now.  Our High North property, lying due south of the Valley of the Kings and Bridge zones,  is already known to be gold-bearing...the 222m of 0.87 g/t attests to that.  The hole is virtually identical to the average hole from the Bridge zone on Pretium's property.  AND....MOST IMPORTANT....WE HAVE YET TO DRILL THE UPPER PART OF THE SYSTEM WHERE WE KNOW FROM SURFACE SAMPLING THAT GRADES UP TO 16G/T EXIST....IN OTHER WORDS, WE HAVE EXCELLENT PROSPECTS FOR HIGH-GRADE.    

At the initial Hemlo discovery, it took more than 70 holes before they got any encouragement whatsoever.   We have hit on our first and only hole at the High North....we KNOW the system there is gold-bearing.  We do not have to go through 70 holes..we are already there.  When we drill the upper part later in the season, we are confident that we will hit values that are much in excess of 1g/t....we say this because the low-grade that we encountered in drilling in 2012 starting some 300m down did not contain any copper, lead or zinc...yet on surface we see copper stain throughout the southeast part of the nunatak, the undrilled, completely untested part.   And that particular type of copper stain is not from chalcopyrite but from tetrahedrite...known to accompany high-grade silver and gold values in the Sulphurets region.  We have also seen abundant galena (lead sulfide) in certain hand specimens from this zone.  Moreover the assays from the surface samples taken from this zone, as well as supporting gold assays up to 16 g/t gold,  also include significant values in copper, lead and zinc.  

It was announced yesterday by Pretium that they have just completed a $40,000,000.00 financing $6.92/sh with a U.S. institution. Funds to be allocated to BruceJack/Valley of the Kings project.
