Land
Holdings in NE British Columbia
Vancouver, B.C. June
13, 2007 Mantle Resources Inc. (TSX Venture: MTS; Frankfurt: A0F7E1) (Mantle or the Company) is
pleased to announce that it has entered into two separate agreements pursuant
to which the Company will be acquiring a royalty-free 100% undivided interest
in an additional 32 mineral tenures, totaling 12,302.9 hectares,
within the highly prospective Kechika SEDEX zinc-lead district of northeastern
British Columbia. The acquisition of these tenures increases the Companys land
holdings in this area, which include the advanced Akie Property, to 101,163 hectares, extending in a
north-northwesterly direction over a distance of some 180 km.
The first
agreement pertains to 24 tenures (Pooker 1, Saint 1-4, What a Rift, Ricks
Spirit of MTO, Driftpile1-3, X, Cousin Saint, Pile, 1.1, IN, AK and 8 un-named
tenures) encompassing 5,265.80
hectares within the Omineca and Liard Mining Divisions.
The second
agreement pertains to 8 tenures (Kwad, Peskie, Peskie 2, Gnome East, Spa, Gata,
New Quad, Cirque East), for a total of 7,037.11 hectares,
also within the Omineca and Liard Mining Divisions.
We are very
pleased to have acquired these additional claims, stated Mr. Peeyush Varshney,
President of Mantle Resources Inc. By
securing these properties we now have an even larger highly prospective land
package in this world class sedex zinc basin.
Mantle is without a doubt the dominant land holder in this emerging
premier zinc-lead district in British Columbia.

About the Akie Property
The Akie zinc-lead
property is situated within the southern-most part (Kechika Trough) of the
regionally extensive Paleozoic Selwyn Basin, one of
the most prolific sedimentary basins in the world for the occurrence of SEDEX
zinc-lead-silver and straiform barite deposits.
Drilling on
the Akie property by Inmet Mining Corporation during the period 1994 to 1996
and Mantle in 2005 and 2006 has identified a significant body of baritic SEDEX
mineralization (Cardiac Zone) containing average combined zinc+lead contents in
excess of 10%. The deposit is hosted by variably siliceous, fine-grained
clastic rocks of the Middle to Late Devonian Gunsteel formation.
Three
similar deposits, Cirque, South Cirque and Driftpile (all owned by
Teck-Cominco), with a combined geologic inventory in excess of 65 million tones
averaging approximately 10% combined zinc-lead, occur in Gunsteel rocks to
the northwest of the Akie deposit.
