Ironman Iocg Project Drill Results
=======================================================================
News Release 14/2008
Vancouver, BC, August 20, 2008 -- Copper Ridge Explorations Inc.
("Copper Ridge" or the "Company") has received the results of drilling
at its Ironman Iron oxide copper-gold ("IOCG") project from Vale
Exploration Canada Inc. ("VEC"), an affiliate of Vale Inco Limited
("Vale Inco"), each a wholly-owned subsidiary of Companhia Vale do Rio
Doce ("Vale") (NYSE: RIO). Four holes were completed for a total of
1,031.4 m. The holes were targeted to test coincident gravity highs and
IP chargeability anomalies. The first hole, 54326, encountered
hematitic breccia over 52 m. The breccia contains minor disseminated
pyrite and chalcopyrite. A 1.35 m sample in the immediate hangingwall
to the breccia ran +1.0% copper. The rest of the breccia was weakly
anomalous in copper, with all values less than 0.1%. The third hole,
54328, encountered narrow intervals of breccia and a 76.2 m interval of
gabbro intrusive. The gabbro is mineralized with disseminated
magnetite, typically around one percent, but locally to 10 percent.
This could explain the magnetic anomaly and at least part of the IP
chargeability and gravity anomaly. The hole ended in breccia and debris
flow, a unit with some similarities to the breccia. No mineralization
of significance was encountered in the other two holes. The Company is
awaiting VEC's decision as to its future plans for the property.
Mr. J. Greg Dawson, P.Geo., Vice President of Exploration for Copper

VEC is the North American exploration division of Vale, the world's
second largest mining company by market capitalization. Vale reported
revenues of US$33.1 billion and net earnings of US$ 11.8 billion for
the year ended December 31, 2007.
The Company's exploration philosophy focuses on maximizing the
potential for success in a high-risk business. With grass roots mineral
exploration, where the entry cost is low but the potential reward can
be very high, success will be contingent on exploration skill and on
carefully managed risk. Our management team brings tenacity, technical
skill and experience, all crucial ingredients for discovery. By
exploring a broad array of projects, focusing on the right commodities,
in areas of high mineral potential and in mining-friendly jurisdictions
and by sharing the risks on some projects with joint venture partners,
the Company is exposing its shareholders to a greater chance for
discovery.
