SPECCIE resource juniors used to bandy around the term "Olympic Dam-style mineralisation" to refer to the next monster uranium deposit, but after that commodity went cold the descriptor applied to copper and gold targets.
With copper and gold also falling from grace, it's a pity Olympic Dam doesn't contain any graphite or rare earths.
Undeterred, this unrelated duo are digging and poking on ground that share the same traits as Olympic Dam's iron oxide copper gold system.
Apollo this week released maiden results from its drilling at Acacia East, part of its Titan projects in SA's Gawler Craton, home to Olympic Dam.
Ahead of drill assay results on the first three holes, due next month, Apollo reports intersecting thick sulphide mineralisation in a 4.2km by 1.6km area.
