MAWSON GRANTED PERMISSION TO DRILL AT KLPPIBCKEN URANIUM PROJECT, SWEDEN
- Two Diamond Drill Rigs Will Mobilize to Klppibcken Within the Next Two to Three Weeks, to Complete an Initial 4,000 Metre Drill Program
- Significant High-Grade and Near-Surface Uranium Mineralization Was Intersected During Mawsons Previous Drill Campaign... Results Indicated the Strength of the Klppibcken Uranium Mineralized System and the Potential for a Major Uranium Deposit At Klppibcken
Best Results, Calculated With a Lower Cut-Off of 200 ppm U3O8, Included:
KLDD0703 : 56 metres at 0.10% U3O8 from 20 metres; including 5 metres for 0.24% U3O8 from 25 metres, and including 24.7 metres for 0.12% U3O8 from 46.3 metres;
KLDD0702 : 23.1 metres at 0.12% U3O8 from 18.6 metres; and 8.6 metres at 0.10% U3O8 from 51.5 metres;
- Historical Drilling at Klppibcken Has Shown that Mineralization Extends to Greater Than 150 Metres Below the Surface, at Least 120 Metres Along Strike, and Remains Open in All Directions
Michael Hudson, President of Mawson Resources: We are pleased that all permits are now in place that the company can now continue to explore the prospective Klppibcken Uranium Project. Our team of four geologists and eight field assistants were active over summer collecting new field information from the Hotagen (Klppibcken, Tresjarna and Stensjdalen) area. Two drill rigs will now mobilize in the next few weeks to follow up this work and the encouraging previous drill results obtained by the company in early summer.

Dear Friends:
Mawson is once again starting to drill at the Klppibcken Uranium Project which the Company believes has the potential for a major uranium deposit. Support for this conviction comes from the high uranium grades discovered earlier and the fact that the mineralization is near surface and that it extends to greater than 150 metres below the surface and for at least 120 metres along strike. Furthermore, the mineralization is open in all directions. We also want to point out that Klppibcken is just one of many prospective areas within the much larger Hotagen Project, which is 8368 hectares or 83.68 sq/km in total size. This extensive uranium system certainly warrants some serious attention and Mawson has committed a top notch team to undertake work at this high priority project area. With two drill rigs starting to turn we can look forward to some important announcements over the coming weeks and months.

Nick L. Nicolaas
