(the “Company”) is pleased to announce
that it has promoted Mr. Fafah Ramboasalama to the
newly created position of Southern Africa Regional
Manager, at the same time as he retains his local
position as Resident Manager in
Madagascar. In addition, Mr.
Olivier Rakotomalala has been promoted to
Associate Resident Manager in Madagascar, while
also retaining his position as Technical
Director.
This restructuring of
management responsibilities reflects the rapid
growth now taking place within the Company as a
result of expansion of the Company’s
programs onto the African continent.

mineral spectrum in development in Madagascar, the
Company now has two active gold projects in
Mozambique and Diamond permits pending in Botswana
and Namibia. Mr. Ramboasalama is an

Industry and Trade (COFIC), where he was
responsible for developing agri-business
investment projects, and for CARE International,
the well known NGO. Mr.
Ramboasalama has extensive experience in designing
and managing environmental and natural resource
programs and other community development
activities. He received his
Bachelors degree in Agronomics from the University
of Antananarivo, in Madagascar.
He has served as the Company’s
Resident Manager in Madagascar for the past four
years. Working closely with him is
Olivier Rakotomalala, a Civil Engineer who is
among Madagascar’s leading GIS experts with
over 10 years experience in design, implementation
and exploitation of geographic
databases. These skills are
invaluable in connection with the Company’s
mining exploration activities. His prior
experience includes a position with The National
Geographic Institute of Madagascar, where he was
responsible for acquisition and management of data
from surveying, aerial photography, remote studies
and the like. He also worked for several years for
CARE International, where he was responsible for
designing, monitoring and evaluating social and
economic development projects of that
organization. He joined the Company in 2003 as its
Technical Director and has overseen the
Company’s mining claims acquisition and
management of its properties in
Madagascar. Mr. Rakotomalala
received his B.Sc. degree in Geography from the
National Geographic School of Paris, and
subsequently got his Civil Engineering diploma
from the Polytechnical School of the University of
Antananarivo.
According to Irwin Olian, CEO

contributed greatly to our success in Madagascar,

exhibited professionalism, integrity, good

role within our organization and within the mining
industry in Africa. Pan African
is committed to providing opportunities for all
our Malagasy staff to experience strong career
