Roughrider Zone Mineralization Extends another 23 Meters to the Northeast with a 63 Meter Intersection

Terra Ventures (TSX-V:TAS) is pleased to release scintillometer readings from drill hole MWNE-08-32 on the Roughrider Zone discovery  (http://www.terrauranium.com/nr2008-07-28.htm). This hole is the third hole of a planned 15 hole program scheduled this summer on the Midwest Northeast property. Drill hole MWNE-08-30 of the summer drill program also encountered a 69.2 meter intersection of elevated scintillometer readings (www.terrauranium.com/nr2008-07-08.htm). Scintillometer readings of this level at the Roughrider zone have been associated with the high grade assay results received so far. The operator of the property, Hathor Exploration, measures natural gamma emission radiation from drill core in counts per second using a hand-held Exploranium GR-110G gamma ray scintillometer as a reliable guide for directing drill programs. The reader is cautioned that: 1) scintillometer readings are not directly or uniformly related to uranium grades of the rock sample measured and should be used only as a preliminary indication of the presence of radioactive materials; and, 2) all intersections are down-hole, core interval measurements and true thicknesses are yet to be determined. Terra Ventures holds a 10% production carried interest in the property; not having to contribute any exploration expense until a bankable feasibility study is established. Hathor (TSX-V:HAT) reported in a news release dated May 21, 2008 (http://www.terrauranium.com/nr2008-05-21.htm) chemical assay results from this project that included the following u3o8 intersections: 15m grading 10.02% including 2m at 43.85%, 9m grading 10.06% including 3m at 22.72%, and 9.5m grading 2.60% including 2m at 10.39%. This news release also makes note that the primary drill target, established by the current exploration model, is yet to be drill tested. This is an area where the principal cross-cutting uranium bearing structures intersect the unconformity. These results follow previous chemical assays that include: 11.9m grading 5.29% u3o8; 1.7m grading 6.05% Ni; 0.5m grading 17.22% Ni; 2.0m grading 1.17% Co; 1.0m grading 1.92% Co; 3.6m grading 0.34% Cu; 3.0m grading 0.21% Cu; 3.0m grading 0.59% Mo; 0.6m grading 2.35%Mo; 4.2m grading 0.54%Mo.
