INTERNATIONAL ENEXCO UPDATES SHAREHOLDERS ON MULTIPLE DRILL PROGRAMS
Vancouver, BC - August 10, 2009, Arnold Armstrong, President and CEO of International Enexco Ltd. (TSXV - IEC) (the "Company" or "Enexco" ) reported details today on International Enexco's recent, current and forthcoming drill programs including partial assay results from Enexco's Mann Lake uranium property located in the Athabasca Basin, Saskatchewan, operated by Cameco Corp.
Mann Lake Uranium Property
International Enexco has received incomplete assay results from four of the six drill holes completed in the 2009 winter Mann Lake drill program which commenced in January of this year. A total of 4,155 metres were drilled in the six holes, ranging in depth from 648 to 732 m. The Mann Lake Property is located in the eastern Athabasca Basin, approximately 25km southwest of the McArthur Mine and 20km's northeast of the Millennium deposit. Cameco Corp is the operator of the Mann Lake property (30% International Enexco, 52.5% Cameco Corp., 17.5% AREVA.
The assays received for the first four holes in the program MN-022, 023, 024 and 025 (with assays for MN-026 and 027 still pending) all exhibit strong boron (B) enrichment of the sandstone section above the Athabasca unconformity surface. MN-023 had a weighted average of 552 ppm boron over the entire sandstone section. International Enexco is encouraged by the discovery of high concentrations of Boron as it is typical of alteration systems associated with unconformity style uranium mineralization in the southeastern portion of the Athabasca Basin. Compared to historical statistics, holes MN-022 and 024 show relative anomalous uranium-in-sandstone concentrations. Most significantly 3.42 ppm U over the lower 126.4 m of the sandstone in hole MN-024. Spot samples of sandstone and basement faulting returned local anomalies in MN-024, including 138 ppm U and 6610 B from a basal sandstone fault, and strong anomalous boron (15,400 ppm B) associated with a basement fault gouge. An 18 m wide fault zone immediately above the unconformity contains local anomalous radioactivity (up to 250 cps, SPP2) associated with minor disseminated pitchblende. International Enexco anticipates receiving assays from the remaining two drill holes by the end of August, 2009.
Cameco is working on the Mann Lake geophysics GoCad model and continues with interpretation of the 2009 winter drill results. In addition to assay results from holes MN-026 and MN-027 International Enexco will announce in a future press release Cameco's next phases of planned work and drill programs set for the Mann Lake Project as and when they are received.
Hot Pot Gold Property
Phase one drilling continues at the Hot Pot Gold Property in Humbolt County, Nevada, where 991 meters have been drilled to date in 3 holes. The property is located 6 km east of Newmont's Lone Tree Mine (5 million ounces) and 13 km north of Goldcorp's Marigold Mine (4 million ounces). The Hot Pot Gold Property is under a joint-venture agreement between Enexco and Nevada Exploration Inc., the details of which are outlined in the Company's June 8, 2009 news release.
Hannah Gold Property
Assays are now pending on Enexco's phase one drilling on the Hannah Gold Property in Churchill County, Nevada, the results of which will be published in a forthcoming Company news release. The Hannah Gold Property is under a joint-venture agreement with Lincoln Gold Corporation (see Enexco April 6, 2009 news release). A total of 932 meters were drilled in 5 holes in the phase one program. Visual inspection showed at least 3 of the 5 holes encountered target host rocks with intervals of favorable alteration.
Loomis Mountain Gold Property
Upon completing phase one drilling at the Hot Pot Gold Property, the Company will begin drilling on the Loomis Mountain Gold Property in Elko County, Nevada, where surface work programs are currently underway to refine drill targets and geology field crews are confirming previous rock chip and soil geochemical anomalies, along with structural mapping of targets. The Loomis Mountain Gold Property is under a joint-venture agreement with Fronteer Development Group (see Fronteer June 2, 2009 news release).

Contact Copper Property
The pre-feasibility study at the Company's 100% owned Contact Copper Project in northeast Nevada is near completion. The study includes an updated mineral resource estimate and will be published in a forthcoming news release.
