TRADING HALT

The securities of Sundance Resources Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 3 February, 2016 or when the announcement is released to the market.

TRADING HALT REQUEST

Sundance Resources Limited ("Sundance") requests an immediate trading halt in respect of its shares (ASX code: SDL).

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1 and in support of its request for a trading halt, Sundance provides the following information:

• Sundance requests a trading halt pending an announcement by Sundance in relation to a capital raising.

• Sundance requests that the trading halt continue until the earlier of:

  • the commencement of trading on Wednesday, 3 February 2016; and

  • the release of an announcement to the market by the Company in relation to the capital raising.

• The Company is not aware of any reason why its securities should not be halted or of any other information necessary to inform the market or ASX about the trading halt.
