LAVAL, CANADA, MAY 24, 2007�TYPHOON EXPLORATION INC. (the �Company�) (TSX-V: TOO) is pleased to announce that the planned Diamond drill program is progressing as planned on the Fayolle Property, located in the Rouyn-Noranda Mining Camp (Quebec), and that additional exploration work is being done on other properties. Highlights include:

* A total of 5,265 m of drilling has been completed to date on the Aiguebelle-Goldfields Property, with results being issued shortly;

* Some 4,334 m of drilling is completed to date in 2007 at Fayolle. Drilling is progressing as planned along the eastern extension of the Fayolle mineralization, and will continue for the remainder of 2007 with the same professional technical  team;

* A 3-D GOCAD compilation is presently underway on the Monexco Property and should be completed soon. The work will help target potential precious and base metal sectors. This will be followed by a significant prospecting campaign done by independent geologists and technicians, followed by line-cutting and ground geophysical surveys (Magnetics, IP), outcrop stripping, detailed mapping, channel sampling and (NQ-sized) Diamond drilling;

* The Company will also be initiating in the near term an airborne geophysical survey integrating magnetics, electro-magnetics and radiometrics on the North Shore Uranium Property. The survey will be followed by prospecting and sampling of geophysical targets by the Company�s geologists and technicians.
