  24hGold - Bengazi: Covering-up...

It’s important to note that the problem with both the Dan Rather story on George W. Bush (see below) and the case of CBS 60 Minutes reportage on Bengazi was not that the general details of the stories were wrong.  Quite the contrary.  The general body of evidence indeed points to the high probability that George W. Bush received favorable treatment in securing his position at the Texas Air National Guard during the Vietnam War, and once there, also received favorable treatment.   Dan Rather just happened to have a problem with specific source documents.  But that does not invalidate the entire story given the existence of other evidence.

That’s the same situation that happened with 60 Minutes this week.  One source — a so-called witness — has been discredited.  60 Minutes made a serious error.  But now, the media and the powers that be are basically pushing the entire Benghazi scandal under the rug.  The Benghazi scandal is real.  But now, any further investigation will take a mainstream journalist with ungodly testicular fortitude to touch the Benghazi scandal.
