Gulf Today, in its December 7, 2011 article, reports that Chile’s inflation rate raises to 3.9%.

SANTIAGO: Chile’s inflation rate in the 12 months through November was 3.9 per cent, creeping up from 3.7 per cent a month earlier to within a whisker of the central bank’s 2011 4.0 per cent target ceiling.

Chile’s consumer price index rose 0.3 per cent in November, following a 0.5 per cent rise in October, government data showed on Wednesday.

Core CPI, which strips out prices for fuel, fresh fruit and vegetables, rose 0.2 per cent in November after rising 0.3 per cent in October.
