History

The company claimed to own property that assayed at 67% copper, 120 ounces silver and $32 gold per ton. Company was viewed with suspicion and considered a swindle  due to the fact that dividends were paid, most likely from stock sales, not earnings. (Copper Handbook, 1908, p.635).  Management of the Dona Louisa Copper & Gold was the same as that of the Natividad MC and the Santa Emilia. Both of these companies were also swindles. (Copper Handbook, 1908, p.1206-17)
