Gatling
Exploration Inc. (GTR:TSX.V; GATGF:OTCMKTS) reported in a news release positive results from initial drilling at
the Cheminis deposit in Ontario.
Results are from an area more than 2 kilometers west of the Bear deposit where
drilling is ongoing.
For one, drilling at Cheminis extended the updip continuity of the A zone.
Also, hole GTR-19-008 intersected both the South Flow zone and high-grade,
near-surface gold intercepts of 12.3 g/t over 5 meters (5m) including 18.1
g/t over 3m.
In fact, all three holes drilled to date at Cheminis hit gold
mineralization in the upper 50m, which, the release noted, "can be
traced on surface for over 400 meters along strike within the historical
Cheminis mine site."
"We have demonstrated excellent widths and grades very close to
surface and have projected the A zone upwards from older partially developed
levels at Cheminis," CEO Nav Dhaliwal said in the release.
Gatling intends to follow up on these findings. With more drilling, it
will test the mineralized horizon updip of the A zone as well as downdip
extensions of all four zones.
