I’ll be in Pennsylvania for the rest of the month and then back-and-forth from Montana in the period that follows, offering up whatever commentary I am able to from my childhood bedroom while attending to still-pressing family matters here.

The Morning Links post will be about the most consistent item appearing here and I’m not even sure that I’ll be able to get that up every day … we’ll see.

October is a great month to visit this part of the country, though it would be much better under different circumstances. The leaves are changing color during what is, apparently, a late fall and it’s still fairly warm, however, that will be changing in just a couple days.

I’ve yet to be able to stay up late enough to see the end of a baseball or football game (I’m guessing the Broncos lost last night) and  you don’t get the results in the morning newspaper either. That’s one nice thing about living in the western part of the U.S. – sports events rarely go past 9:30 and all the scores are right there in the morning newspaper.
