Fortunately for the U.S. government, the sovereign debt mess in Europe continues to distract the rest of the world from the burgeoning liabilities being amassed here across the Atlantic as total U.S. debt surpassed another milestone late in the day yesterday – a cool $15 trillion as shown below from DebtClock.org.




I’m sure the debt “supercommittee” will get this all fixed up in no time.
