>Australia’s Permanently High Housing Plateau - Tim Iacono - Iacono Research
Hi Tim
Australia is not overly populated with about 22 million people. We have a growing population with about 160,000 migrants and another 160,000 new births per year. Less some deaths that leaves about 250,000 people needing somewhere to live.
If you want to work there a stacks of jobs.
Recently in the press BHP looking for 170,000 workers and labourers in W.A getting up to $137,000p.a.
Obviously that is not all over the country.
Property? I do not think its in a bubble, overpriced yes but will it collapse? Not likely as there are plenty of cashed up people just itching to get themselves an investment property and overall there is a shortage.

That said i've never been a big fan of investment property when geared up.
