>War of "Non-Intervention" - Mish - Global Economic Analysis
John McCain is a psychopath that has never met a country he wasn't eager to bomb into the stone age. His years as a POW has turned him into evil personified.

And the rest of Congress is little better. After 15 years of military service in combat arms, I realized my purpose was to clean up the mess that our incompetent politicians and diplomats created. And with gaining that knowledge, I quit.

You want more proof? The Constitution is quite clear that only Congress can declare war. However the gimmick is don't declare it a war. It is an intervention, police action, humanitarian effort, blah, blah, blah. Even the Egypt military coup is NOT a coup but an intervention. Insurgency was the problem in Iraq, but now the same insurgents are the good guys in Syria.

It completely and utterly defies logic for Assad to use chemical weapons. However for the insurgents, it would be the ideal weapon to use against government forces and especially against civilians. Remember, McCain went there, met with insurgents in the field and no doubt coached them on what it would take to get US involvement.

Believe what you will. I'm going with the overwhelming evidence. POTUS and Congress need a small war to take the attention off their duplicity in creating this world-wide economic mess. Oh, and there is that little pipeline thingy that the US is completely against.

It is all about US hegemony. Always.

The US-led attack on Syria, in other words, is not about intervening in the civil conflict. It is about not ... Read More
