Maybe they will provide the same level of banking secrecy that the Swiss provide for Americans as well.

Oh, the warm fuzzy feeling you suggest about safe vaults and safe jurisdictions just makes me feel snug as a bug.
Do you honestly think jurisdictions like Singapore are going to tell the USA, "We aren't going to play your game?"

I will agree that small holdings aren't worth the trouble or expense to seize.
But by the same token, governments aren't populated by the brightest bulbs in the pack.
The voters cast their ballots for people just like themselves.
Of the people, by the people and for the people.
Likes like likes. Stupid elects clever stupid because stupid doesn't trust smart.
