The $227M in continentals helped develop an infant America in myriads of ways. The continentals hastened development which might have taken much longer under rare specie. Could it not be said that the development brought about by the continentals allowed young America to win the war against England? That they would likely have lost the war without that development?
This brings up England's turning into a world power precisely because of paper money.
Is it therefore inevitable that despite the best intentions of honest people, nations leaving their monetary affairs to money printing parasites always HAVE to win because they can develop their war machine faster than honest populations?
What can honest populations do to protect themseves from this menace?
