I thought it symbolic that the entertainers were well past their use by date, much like the Queen.
How nice of thousands of her admirers to turn up to get a glimpse while she waved at THEM ( no doubt personally)
Probably the only good thing about the monarchy is that it brings tourists to London.

Hopefully Australia will ditch our constitutional monarchy as soon as possible after she dies and waves us goodbye.

Tony Abbott, current opposition leader and former staunch supporter of former PM Howard, avowed sycophant of the queen, will push hard to retain the institution.
He is such a jerk and is still way ahead in the polls because the current PM is an even bigger loser.
So I am not expecting a republic any time soon.
