History of the Tabakoto Project |
Nevsun commenced exploring the Tabakoto project in 1994 and the Company purchased the adjoining Segala mining license to increase the project’s resource base in 2002. A feasibility study was completed in 2002 and Nevsun announced its decision to build the Tabakoto Mine in 2004. Open pit mining of the Tabakoto pit commenced in 2005.
