The property is located just 750 m to the northwest of two historical deposits, the Trethewey Mine (in intermittent operation from 1904 until 1943), which yielded a reported 7.25 million ounces of silver, and the Hudson Bay Mine (operated sporadically from 1903 until 1953), which yielded approximately 6.3 million ounces of silver.
