The property is located in the Sanchez Ramirez province approximately one hour's drive from the country capital Santo Domingo. Access is excellent with several drivable paved and dirt roads crossing the property.
Josefina is located in the Maimon Formation 18 kilometres northwest of the Pueblo Viejo mine and 2 kilometres northwest of MinMet's Punta Larga concession.
