The Durlan Potok licence is located 20 kilometres to the north of the large Bor mining operation. The licence is 10 kilometres to the NW of the >540 million tonnes 0.5% copper Veliki Krivelj open pit mine. The Durlan Potok licence lies within the Timok Magmatic Complex (TMC).

History of the Durlan Potok Project |
The 56 sq. km Durlan Potok licence is located within the Timok Magmatic Complex one of the richest metal terrains in Europe. The Durlan Potok and Brestovatz licences cover more than half of the strike of the important Bor Fault in the Timok complex.

Geology of the Durlan Potok Project |
|
The TMC contains some of the largest and highest grade porphyry style deposits in Europe including Veliki Krivelj, Majdanpek and the gold-rich Bor deposit. The TMC also contains high sulphidation epithermal Cu-Au deposits. Mining is active at Veliki Krivelj and Majdanpek with processing plant at Bor and Majdanpek. Gold-copper concentrate is refined at the Bor smelter.
