The property is located 80 kilometres south of Dease Lake, and 18 kilometres southeast of Iskut approximately 20 kilometers from Highway #37, in the Tahltan traditional territory in northwest British Columbia.

From 1968 to 1981, the property was explored by Conwest Exploration Ltd., Great Plains Development Co., Silver Standard Mines Ltd., Ecstall Mining Limited, and
Texasgulf Canada Limited with geochemistry, geologic mapping, ground magnetics, induced polarization, trenching, and percussion and diamond drilling.
